Just a really friendly place tucked away in Antequera, to be fair there is never anywhere full of tourists in Antequera as there are never many tourists around, particularly in the evening. We ate there three times, inside and outside in the wonderful square, the chopitos are incredible and only run a close second by the carrilada, also worth looking... More

Have passed this small bar many times but today decided to give this non tourist place a go. Bar area crowded, with most of the few tables in the place marked as "reservado" so, rather than leave having made the effort, we had no option but to join the locals and eat/drink standing in a quiet corner. The range and... More

We went for the taps when passing through but found things a bit stale and unpolished. Must be winter but certainly could be better. Service correct but not too friendly. Too bad as it shows some greatness

Ate at Rincon de Lola a couple of evenings in the summer when in Antequera and visited again for lunch over the New Year. Whether the summer or winter it always looks empty from the outside but when you go inside it is packed with locals eating great food and drinking great wine, and the buzz of conversation going on.... We visited twice during our stay in Antequera - the first time there we had a great time. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We were served immediately, and then given complimentary drinks at the end of the evening, even though it was busy and packed to capacity. Based on this experience we returned a few days... More

We have been here twice over the last few months... The first time was just okay and enticed us to return on our next trip despite mediocre service... as the tapas were okay. The second time was worse! The service was at best indifferent, at worst condescending! Pricey and rude.... No gracias! There are more friendly and welcoming options...

My only regret is we didn't eat here until our last night! Their tapas is superb, we started badly with tapas, the first place we tried was not good at all, we then had a few better experiences. But after eating tapas here, I now know what real Tapas is. Loved every mouth full

A tiny bar and quickly filled. So make sure to be there in time! They serve delicious tapas which are among the best we've had. I recommend the grilled small squids and stewed meat. Be aware that most dishes come with big flakes of sea salt! So make sure to remove some salt if you have concerns over your blood... More

Tiny, atmospheric bar, full of bullfighting photos, serving very fresh and flavourful tapas. The waiter was lovely and obviously appreciated our three lunchtime visits. Wine was excellent, surprisingly so, for house red, we would have paid a lot for such beautiful wine home in UK. The Porra (Antequerian speciality) was the best we had during our stay, as were the...
