I took my children here as a treat and had heard rave reviews from friends. Came to Seaham specifically to go here on recommendation. I realise it's during school holidays but the tables were wobbly and filthy. The smell coming from the kitchen was so overpowering it made our hair and jackets smell. Visited Sunday and what a busy busy time no sooner was a table coming free there was always a customer ready for it and the older lady clearing the tables was spot on always cleared and cleaned table ready for next customer and noticed she always had plenty sundae glasses n other items available for the counter staff ..very efficient... lovely American ice cream parlour very unique. Huge menu after watching a guy eats his waffles i can certainly recommend the waffles. If ur looking for fab icecream and sundaes this is the place for you. Also you can get lovely burgers and hotdogs. There is even a selection of hot sandwiches

Description
We are a 1950s all american ice cream parlour selling top grade ices and award winning dishes, award winning fairtrade coffee and lovely hotdogs at reasonable prices. We are not the cheapest but if you want quality then we are number 1. A family owned business we were the first of its kind in the North East and are still the peoples choice for this type of thing. Queues can be long at peak times (1-5 on weekends and school holidays) so please come prepared. off peak times are 10am until 1pm where you may not need queue of queue for less.
