The food was superb. The staff very friendly. No complaints other than...O! how I wanted a cushion under my bottom! Wooden seething with no cushion is very uncomfortable. If your going to The Moorings ...take a cushion and you will have a lovely evening.

If you are staying or visiting Blakeney/the local area, I could not recommend the Moorings any more highly. Fantastic, locally sourced food with good service and friendly staff. Really accommodating with allergies. Book in advance.

We really enjoyed the moorings. The restaurant was very busy, even for May so book ahead. The waitresses did seem to get a little harried at times, maybe they were short staffed as busier than expected, but despite this they were very attentive and the service was very good. The choice isn't huge, but there's plenty of options. Mostly fish... More

The final evening meal of ours hols was at The Moorings. We had starters of scallops with black pudding and crab linguine. Both were large portions for a starter, no complaint there.....and very very tasty. For main course Mrs SmY went for the Hake, a beautiful white piece of fish, I had sea bass with a shrimp risotto again both... More

My wife and I are staying in Norfolk for the week and looked up places to eat in Blakeney for lunch and found the Moorings had great reviews. We went with high hopes, but unfortunately we were a bit disappointed. I had Smoked haddock and leek chowder for starter, which was delicious. I then had the local crab sandwich -... More

Are here with friends in the evening. Food was lovely, great to eat something different from your normal pub meal. Very well presented. Make sure you book ahead for weekend evenings

It's best to book in advance here, it's very popular and rightly so. The cooking is exceptional and service spot on. A lovely place to linger....

Well this was a pleasant surprise. Absolutely world class cuisine. Very friendly and efficient staff and sumptuous food. We went one evening and were blown away with the quality of the cooking. We tried to get a table the following night and it was fully booked, but managed to get one the night after that and the food was just... More
