We visited this takeaway for a quick supper for our family of six this half-term week whilst in Wadebridge visiting family. The food was a complete disappointment, the fish was caked in over-cooked, dark brown brittle batter , burnt almost and inside I have honestly seen more fish in a fish finger. The white fish inside my "cod portion" was... More

On our first day staying in the area, we decided to stop off Jon's fish and chips for our tea. We had a large fish, with cheese and onion fritters and chips. We waited about 10 minutes or so for the food to be cooked and found it to be decent size portions and very tasty. We would definitely go... More

I have Coeliac Disease so I was pleased to be able to order fish in a gluten free batter. The food is cooked after ordering so you do have to wait a short time.

They were a bit busy and a squeeze to get in the car park but food was well worth waiting for and hot when it arrived.

Bit hesitant to go here due to the reviews but it really wasn't as bad as people have been saying! The fish and chips were quite cheap and were absolutely fine.... No small portions, no long waits and no rude staff!

I worked in a fish and chip shop for some time when I was younger so I know what to expect from a chippy, and this has to be by far the worse I have been to, or any food place in general! Personally I would have never made somebody wait that long for anything without giving them a refund,... More

Only went here because the chippy at st Kew Highway was closed. Pleasantly surprised. The fish was fine, had better, had much worse, but the chips were glorious!

Definitely won't be going here again. Firstly over charged for the children's meals however we were refunded with apology. I found the staff rude and the service extremely slow....the food wasn't worth the wait either. The chips were average, the batter was very thick and soggy inside, the fish was ok but fish cake was microwaved and sweaty/soggy. My 5... More
