This was a great evening, eight of us in total including my Bride-to-beand the in-laws!! Situated towards the bottom of Pound Street, below the distinctive Royal Lion Hotel. La Qilla has an extensive menu so I would expect the vast majority of patrons to find something to their liking. Service was prompt, efficient and humourous- we enjoyed the input from... More

Popped in on a recommendation and oh how glad we did. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food choices are your typical choices but were cooked magnificently, they were all so delicious. It's BYOD so the cost was fantastic too. With a great spot close to the beach it's easy to find and near three car parks if... More

As title - really good Indian restaurant near the centre of Lyme Regis. Its unlicensed, so you need to get drinks, Tesco is just up the road. Reasonably priced, accommodating staff - recommend.

Two curry houses in Lyme, neither have an alcohol licence, very odd 2017 Asked for 2 popodoms for my wife, 4 for me, the old man taking the order nearly needed medical attention, he couldnt believe it. He tuned up with a total of four. My wife informed me that he actually said that we should have 4. I ordered... More

Visited this restaurant recently with my husband and 11 year old son. Food and service was really good. Recommended to us and we would definitely recommend ourselves.

Thoroughly enjoyable Indian meal at this unlicensed restaurant, which allowed us to bring our own drinks to the table!

When we arrived (at the time they asked us to as they were busy last night), the door was still locked. There was a nice table for two set at the front but we were dispatched to the back by the kitchen door. To be honest hence the feeling of staff being brusque. The place was heaving as I think... The best local Indian around with a wide range of choices on the menu, friendly and good-humoured staff and lovely setting.

Being unadventurous, I usually choose Chicken Tikka Biriani because it always works but others will hav ventured further within the menu and always had something nice to share. Take your own alcohol - they will be happy to serve it for you.
