We popped into this lovely Pub on spec and weren't expecting to find a table for the four of us, but we were lucky and they had one free. My Husband & I have eaten here before, but not for many years. The Pub was packed with families who all also seemed to be celebrating Mother's Day you. When I... More

Went here last Saturday with friends who had previously recommended it. 5 out of the 8 choices on the specials board were sold out, and this was before 7 pm. In the end settled for beef burgers, the lamb burger and the mushroom one. The burgers were supposed to be with or include salad, 1 lettuce leaf does not in... More

Friends organised a night out to see some comedy. The show was great. We had food in the bar before hand which was excellent. Really good homecooked food, the usual pub favourites with a great selection of veggie choices too. Will definitely be going back.

Staff were very friendly and there was a good choice of beers including local Dorset beers and ales. We were there on a Friday and enjoyed some great jazz from Hot Sausage! We had a couple of bar snacks which were fine. Nice cosy old fashioned pub.

When all else is closed in the doldrums of the off season, there is this place. Food just about OK, pub quiet at least. Good luck to you, and thanks for being open and keeping at it!
