Antonio is a welcoming host. Most of the menu is written on the boards on the wall. Good atmosphere - food quality a little mixed - desserts were really good!

On my first visit to Lyme Regis, I stumbled on this trattoria run by the genial Antonio and his staff. I can say that I was not disappointed. Amazing starter of scallops, bacon, rocket and beetroot. This was quickly followed by the best spinach and ricotta tortelloni that I have had accompanied by rocket and parmigiana salad, with home made garlic... More

Reading the reviews expected a great meal. House specials not available at 8pm told had sold out. Settled for crab linguine pasta ok but had to hunt for the crab. Accompanying by a green limp salad which was not dressed. Food not seasoned and no parmasen cheese offered. Wine warm not nice and expensive.

The whole restaurant was aware of your disappointment at us not being able to serve you your 1st choice off our menu , unfortunately we are unable to guess at what our customers are going to order! Yes by 8pm we had sold out of both the scallops and the sea bass as we buy all our fish on a... More

This place is like going back into the seventies! The setting reminded me of the faulty towers restaurant! Old style cooking and service. Antonio leading the charge, directing the younger waiting staff & doing his best to keep everyone seen to. The dish I had was very tasty (crab linguine) and the service professional and friendly. My folks would like... More

No more than three minutes' walk from the seafront is Antonio's. We enjoyed the traditional Italian 'family' atmosphere and relaxed immediately. The menu was full of interesting dishes and Antonio explained that they only source fresh ingredients. We enjoyed the food and service so much that we booked for later in the week, too. We highly recommend Antonio's and it... More

Called in as passing and we were lucky to find a table. A very traditional Italian restaurant.Antonio made us feel very welcome and the food was freshly cooked to order. I had spicy mushrooms to start and my wife fresh figs and ham both were excellent. We then had steak in port and chicken in cream both again excellent. Also... More

Looking for a restaurant with another couple, we came upon Antonio's by chance and liked it's authentic Italian style. We were in for a treat ! Everything was faultless, a warm welcome, the food was delicious and cooked to perfection by Antonio's wife and the house wine was just right for us.

Lovely family owned restaurant. Greeted by Antonio, nice sense of humour and welcoming. Lovely specials board, mussels were fantastic! All the pasta dishes were tasty, clearly home made and not too expensive.

We came in late and all tables were full but Antonio went out his way to cater for our needs and apologised that we had to wait. He doesn't usher out his guests to make way for others and the wait was worth it. All dishes are cooked to order with the freshest of produce which are bought daily and... More

We visited this friendly restaurant twice during a recent stay to Lyme Regis. Each time the food was excellent and it was served by attentive staff. Tiger prawns and sea bass both excellent. Altogether a credit to Antonio and we would certainly return when next in the area.
