We are traveling cross country and were looking for something with fresh, made-to-order chicken. We saw the billboard for this restaurant and called ahead. They seemed to have the right answers so I ordered food to be prepared to avoid the need to wait for fresh chicken to be cooked. When we walked in the food was just being plated.... More
Our family of five all ate from the buffet. With no charge for our littlest one, it was still a little pricier than I expected. The food was great, however, and everyone found at least a couple of dishes to love (especially once we bribed them with ice cream). I would give it five stars but the some (too many)... More
Enjoyed the Southern Buffet. Everything was delicious. Down home ambience and friendly service. The gift shop was very interesting. Definitely will go back next year when I return to Forrest City.
We're so happy to hear you'll be returning - it's always nice to hear we're not only bringing that Southern style food but Southern hospitality too. More
The fish was excellent. Most of the other stuff was pretty good. Tried the tortilla and potato soups and wasn't impressed with either one of them. Service was fair. Started out great, but the girl kept forgetting to refill my tea. They do have parking for large vehicles, the place is clean and I like the old country store with... More
Rustic Decore but clean. Variety of food especially on the buffet. The bread pudding was to die for. The service was exceptional. We will eat here again.
So pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit and your meal. Thanks for stopping in to dine with us. Take care, The Team at Ole Sawmill Cafe More
It's a typical souther buffet.. food is good and plentiful. Service excellant. Buffet line was well kept up and clean, would eat there again if in the neighborhood.
So glad you stopped in to try out our buffet, Mitchell. We're even happier to hear that you enjoyed everything. We look forward to having you back as our guest the next time you're in the area. Take care, The Team at Ole Sawmill Cafe More
the Old Sawmill Cafe in Forrest City, Arkansas. On the buffet tonight was fried chicken and BBQ ribs. There was much more but I had the ribs and chicken. Both were excellent. An all you can eat buffet for $13.99.
So glad you stopped in to dine with us, Jim. Thanks for the kind feedback. Hope we'll see you back again sometime. Take care, The Team at Ole Sawmill Cafe More
They have a limited menu and a buffet. The food is billed as Country Dining. I went for the buffet, $10.50 plus a drink. The food looked good but didn't taste as good as it looked. Wasn't a large selection, limited salad bar, entries and desserts.
We pride ourselves on southern cooking and a good selection of items on our buffet. It's surprising to hear you felt there weren't enough options, and we apologize that we didn't meet your expectations. The quality and flavors we instill in every recipe should be apparent regardless of what you choose from our buffet. Sincerely, The Team at Ole Sawmill... More
It was the end of the day & we were traveling through. A different restaurant to eat at and not the same ole thing! We had their buffet. There was LOTS to choose from. They specialize in southern cooking and they nailed it. Would definitely stop again.
Thank you for stopping in while you were traveling the roads, Gae. We're happy to hear we could offer you a break from traveling and a good meal, as well. We hope the rest of your journey was wonderful and hope to see you on your next time passing through. Sincerely, The Team at Ole Sawmill Cafe More

Thinking about a day trip to Little Rock on 10/24/2015. Bus with about 50 people. Trying to determine where to stop for breakfast. What are the breakfast hours?
