I have been going to Hobbs house for a while now because I love their bread and the cakes they have are fantastic! I really love the friendly atmosphere and their food is delicious! 5/5 stars!

My wife and stopped for a coffee and bacon roll. Product was fine (although only oak milk, no soya for those who are lactose intolerant) but lady than served me was so off hand / distracted on being busy that my ordering was an unwelcome...frustration to her day. Totally rude - so many nicer places to spend my money at in Nailsworth , won’t be back.More

The food here is generally very nice, and has a really rustic, handmade feel. However every time I have been there the staff have been offhand and distracted. I'd be interested to know why customers are not welcome

Lady serving was incredibly bossy and grumpy, Cauliflower soup came straight off the set of Oliver Twist (except I was not asking for more). The bread, well where do I start, mother's pride sliced white would have been a better experience.

We got chorizo sausage roll and millionaire shortbread and shared as a couple to top up our otherwise more boring lunch and both were delicious! Had a long queue outside which is testament to how good it it, was recommended by our air bnb and...a great recommendation! This is was about £5.50 for both items so not the cheapest but you pay for quality.More

Excellent bakery and excellent coffee. They currently have some tables and chairs on a little park area in front of the building. Spoilt for choice for delicious cakes, and the chorizo sausage rolls are gorgeous !

.....and even better coffee. For obvious reasons only doing take outs right now but the long queues reflect its popularity. Chorizo sausage role was exceptional and some excellent cakes to finish. Highly recommended!

Stopped here for coffee on our walk in the area. Whilst principally a bakery this offers coffee as well upstairs. Being a bakery, choice of cakes is excellent. We had the macaroons which were delicious. Coffee was also very good. Well worth a stop if...in the area.More

I am not the owner of Hobbs Bakery and cafe, just a customer. I have never seen any dogs in the cafe.
