We called in on a Saturday lunchtime for a glass of wine. We enjoyed our visit to Cellar44 and I am sure we will visit again.

Not good at all. Very limited menu (we know the score) but even then no baked Camembert available. Opted for hummus board, nice enough. Cellar 44 board was very poor value (see photos) reality vs expectation, £26 for £5 worth of cheese. Had to ask...for the x3 missing items. No pickles so they gave us gerkins! No marinated artichoke so they gave us extra bread. Live music overwhelmed the venue. We won't be going back which is a real shame. Previous visits have been great but not tonight.More

Went for a few drinks and the Cellar 44 Board. Place has a lovely look and feel to it. Was a bit hesitant to go after reading reviews on the service but we didn't have any problems at all - staff were friendly and attentive....Cocktails were amazing and the food is devine - we were able to graze through the excellent meat and cheese section for a good couple of hours. Would definitely reccomend goingMore

Went in for a drink before a meal at a nearby restaurant. Sat and watched our drink ingredients being placed on the bar followed by several new customers who obviously knew the bar staff getting served first. Excuse of no clean glasses was a joke...considering all the glasses are hanging above the bar and clear to see. Sad to see what from the outside looks like a nice bar to find the inside a disgrace in customer service. Time will tell if it stays open.More

Thank you for your feedback. We apologise for the appearance of others being served before yourselves. As we are a table service bar drinks are often being made for people situated all over the building, even if it appears new customers are being served first....More

What a brilliant time we had yesterday celebrating our son's 25th. Great atmosphere, great team of people led by Charlie, apparently the best Espresso Martini ever, brilliant food (took the rest home and tucking in as I write!). Overall the most excellent time had by...all. Can only apologise for drinking all the Jameson! Now firmly on the "Go To" list.More

After being in a couple of times, I was surprised glancing down the recent reviews on here!? I find the place incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The young man serving our table was polite and personable. Charlie behind the bar made sure all of my colleagues...were catered for and satisfied with what they had (some were more picky than others). Overall can only commend the staff and the service around the board. Will certainly be back 👍More

Terrible experience, I have never EVER left a restaurant so unhappy, had to wait over 30 minutes to order a drink, got that bored, we went to the bar and interrupted the young lad drying glasses to order our drinks. We then had to ask...the barman if we could order the food as we were told that we have to leave the table by 9.00 and it was 7.50. We placed our order of cheese boards by 8.00 and by 8.45 realised we would only have 15 minutes to eat over £100s worth of cheese so politely told him to forget the food to be met with the worst customer service i have ever witnessed saying its our fault as we were late. Having worked in retail for over 20 years, i have never witnessed or heard anything like it. Eventually he apologised and said he had a few staff ring in sick, i am not surprised and if I am honest as if they treat the staff as they treat their customers i would have called in sick working there. Please avoid!!!More
