Simply amazing! Quite possibly the best dinner ever. Paul served up an array of fantastic courses, ranging from broccoli lollipops to popping candy cheese cake. My partner and I sat down to eat a 7pm and finished just before 11pm. Not only is the food amazing but all the staff were too. We completely 'got' what serendipity was all about,... More

What an amazing place, great staff, great surroundings amazing food. The only down side of the evening was the rude man who started complaining in the bar using inappropriate language and continued to complain before his early departure. If I could have given the gentleman any advice I would have told him not to smoke between every course (it's a... More

Words don't really say it strongly enough - Thank you! It was a surreal evening and your review helps us all bring a level of normality back to what we do. Once again a very humble but heart felt thank you from all of us. More

Once again Paul and his staff never fail to amaze us the food was superb as always the only hiccup of the evening was the extremely rude and loud gentlemen who started to complain before he even got to the bar and continued through the evening until his early departure. Thankfully Isobel Paul and Daniel over come the difficulties and... More

This is my 3rd attempt at writing a review of this restaurant. The food is diabolical, the condition of the decor and fixtures is horrendous. For such a historic and beautiful building it is shameful at how it has been looked after. The majority of the food is prossessed and out of packets. For anyone that is used to good... More

Although J R was encouraged to leave early because he was making the other guests and staff uncomfortable with his aggressive attitude which started form the moment he wa greeted by Daniel he really has done a very positive and hopefully constructive thing. We aren't for everybody and that's why we avoid advertising and put our trust in word of... More

We visited the Priory with anticipation and the welcome was stunning. Despite the cold, snowy weather we received a very warm and sincere welcome from Paul and Izzy. Daniel made an amazing contribution to our whole experience at the hotel. His enthusiasm for his work was truly heartwarming. The hotel is full of character with many interesting features and is... One of the key features of this hotel restaurant is that two waiters have learning disabilities. They also happen to be charming, gentlemanly and great fun but the adjectives are split over the two chaps. If I had made this review quicker I would have remembered their two names but now I have to just say that the very extrovert... More

Thank you for such a balanced review and for acknowledging the contribution made by all the team . It has been a rocky road, and at times people don't get that as a team we have two main goals - relaxed and interesting dining at a fair price and to show that it's not a label or a perception that... Enjoyed a fantastic evening here on Saturday with my fiancé and two very special friends - each course was sublime, delicious and flavour some . Service was excellent and was lovely to chat to the owner/chef at the end and pass on our delight at the exquisite food we had tasted! We arrived at 7pm and left just after 10pm... More

We were warmly welcomed to our banquet in a cosy private dining room, where the service was superb and the food excellent. Our varied dishes just kept coming, presented in all kinds of receptacles, making the whole experience fun and far from the stuffy formal dining that can feel inhibited. We were a group of mixed ages (including a baby)... More

We're not long back from our third visit to The Priory. Once again, Paul and the team did us proud. I think we had 12 courses in all, and everything was just wonderful. Variety, taste, texture, ingredients we'd never tasted before (sea purslane ?), all in measured quantity, so we were full but not fit to burst by the last... More

The restaurant is part of the Priory Hotel and at a weekend serves a 7 course tasting menu. First of all do not be afraid at the thought of 7 courses as remember these are tasting dishes. That so humbling to recieve such warm feedback considering how well travelled and versed you are. You were such a lovely table to look after and it reminds us as a team how incredibly fortunate we are to be able to do something that we love. More

We are a tiny and quirky restaurant offering a relaxed mystery local tasting experience to twenty guests Monday to Saturday starting at 7 p.m. with canapes and winding down around 10.30 p.m. Our passion is very much in celebrating the ingredients and seasons of Lincolnshire through a humble menu of several small tasting courses in a relaxed, welcoming and definitely unpretentious atmosphere.
