Very good evening meal . Lovely home cooked food, very friendly and willing staff ,recently refurbished small pub. Also called taxi for us when we discovered it was raining as we left. Good luck to them.
Friendly pub, cosy, recently refurbished, great selection of drinks and knowledgable friendly staff behind the bar.

So nice to see this pub open again. We popped in for a drink and were really impressed by the way it has been updated without spoiling the character. The new landlady was very nice. Although we didn't eat the dining area looked very nice.
I was surprised to find that this historic and interesting building was closed and there was nothing to suggest that it would continue trading as a pub, hopefully developers won't transform the Swan in to flats.
if you want a proper pint of good ale in excellent company where you always feel welcome and comfortable in a quite proper pub with no gimmics the old white swan is the only place to go
