The owners were warm and friendly, the food was great (and catered for my gluten free diet), the beer tasty, the bedroom and en suite very clean and comfortable. It's a perfect position to explore the stunning area.

Lunch today after a great walk round the hills. The landlord opened up for us before our walk so we could use the facilities, lunch was waiting for us when we returned. Great welcome, terrific food, thank you!

We went here as a large group - adults with children ranging from 3-17 after a local walk in the area. The walk was cold and muddy, but we worked up a decent hunger. The food had been pre-ordered from the pub food menu, and...More

Loved this pub, very traditional with a lovely crackling log fire, delicious food and generous portions. Friendly and welcoming owners too, the place has a real charm and was definitely welcome after our afternoon walking!

Hi. Yes, we allow dogs in the bar area. We only have two tables in the bar though so I would advise reserving one should you wish to eat. We also have a few tables outside the pub if it's sunny.

The Bottle & Glass in Picklescott, South Shropshire is now open for business again after a complete renovation and is under the new management of Jon Cornes. Dating back to the 17th century The Bottle & Glass is a quintessentially English country pub which offers accommodation and is full of rustic charm and character, with oak beams, open fires and a wonderfully warm atmosphere. Our carefully prepared menu which is inspired by classic English dishes uses locally sourced produce whenever possible. Jon can be found behind the bar serving some great local ales and fine wines all of which can be found at very competitive prices. Our Sunday lunch is ideal for all the family to enjoy and for special occasions ask for details of our Private Dining Room which we can make available for groups of up to twelve people. Whatever your reason for visiting The Bottle & Glass we can assure you of a very warm and friendly welcome from all of our staff from the moment that you walk through the door. We look forward to welcoming you soon
