We met with friends for supper, lovely atmosphere, very welcoming and great food. All in all a good country pub whether you just want a bar snack (which I had) or a juicy steak or the beef burger (the boys had). Love it thankyou!

Food is fine, portions rather small, expensive in general, service decidedly indifferent & very precious about our booking. Won't rush to go back though hard to pinpoint exactly why.
Had a lovely meal, we had been driving all day and were starving! The burger was the best I'd had in ages and the chips were properly home made. I suspect the beef came from somewhere good.
