Played the delightful Dragon's Tooth Golf Course with my Dad for his birthday. The most spectacular scenery of any golf course I have ever played. The service was fantastic also and we did enjoy a cold refreshment after our game.

I popped into the Ivy Room for lunch with a couple of friends and was very pleased with what I found. Although a regular visitor to the area, this was my first ever meal here. The Ivy Room is the cafe run by the Dragon's Tooth Golf Club - a rather gorgeous 18 tee golf course at the mouth of... More

It's new and there are some minor quibbles that could be improved upon ( e.g. the signage still pointing to 'the gathering place' on the SusTrans route, the clubhouse feel of the decor, a few decent single malts) but otherwise I have no serious complaints. Service always friendly and prompt enough for what must be a fairly small galley kitchen... More

New to trip advisor so bare with me....Where to start.... beautiful surroundings in the middle of a lovely golf course. My wife and I have visited the ivy room on a number of occasions as we like to support local businesses, however I am afraid I cannot praise this one. Staff have no clue what they are doing, service is... More

Been here 3 times now with mixed results. Cake range always very poor - 1 choice (sometimes something else 'in the oven' but never just ready yet!) Food tasty enough, but, service often very slow even when quiet though. Nothing on the menu for gluten free people. Staff seem unsure/untrained somehow, service therefore not great.

Myself and my partner stopped in for a late breakfast and a coffee on our way further up north on holiday in March 2013. We had passed several slightly touristy and slightly grotty cafes and were giving up hope of finding anywhere nice to stop when we spotted a sign for this place in an attractive looking golf course. It... More

I visited this cafe on my travels and decided to stop for some lunch on my way to Fort William. The cafe is small and cosy. I fancied the sound of the quiche but was told it was not mafe yet (even though it was after 1pm) I decided on the soup but unfortunately it arrived and was cold but... More

Great wee snack stop, lovely place to stop on my trip from Glasgow to Inverness via Fort William. Good range of tasty food, scrummy home baking, super coffee all very good value served by friendly staff. Pity I don't live closer - it would definitely be one of my regular coffee destinations if I did, but I will certainly be... More

When driving from Oban to Inverness, a couple of weeks ago, I saw a sign saying cafe open so my husband and I thought we would stop in for some lunch. The Ivy Room is located in the middle of a lovely golf course and has beautiful scenery. The cafe itself is warm and welcoming and the staff member who... More
