As usual dinner in Bistro Bermo was excellent - certainly better than anywhere we have tried in Barmouth. Everyone was complementary of the meal. Fish is definitely a speciality but its not just fish. The only problem is booking a table as its popular.

Small venue but sat at the window table and didn't feel overlooked by other diners. The food and wine was fabulous and the service was pleasant and polite. The best cooked steak I've had in ages and a glorious stem ginger cheesecake. Spot on.

Managed to get an early evening booking, they actually did call me back after I left my number. Food was of a very high standard, the lamb was simply divine! The chicken was good although we were slightly puzzled that it was the last one...More

Absolute gem in a barren landscape where fine dining is concerned. This has to be the best restaurant in the area which probably explains why you have to book well in advance. That being said when you do eat here the wait is certainly rewarded....More

Dined here for the first time. Lovely bistro with lovely food. The lady looking after us was very pleasant and friendly. Booking recommended as the bistro is tiny. Well worth a visit and we will visit again next October during our annual visit to Barmouth.

We have been three times as a family and have been overwhelmed by the food let alone the ambience and the wonderful staff. Most definitely the best place we have ever been and looking forward to the next time! John and Lisa Havelock and co.

Visited her in late October. Small cosy bistro. Nice decor, good sized tables. Although small, even when full doesn't feel crowded. Attentive and friendly waitress. Bill for 2 with starters, main and coffee, one liqueur, and 26 pound bolted and fizzy water an amazing 68...More
