I thought I would finally have a soup that was tasty and satisfying and once more it was bland. I find that the food that I have sample in Patagonia is less then desire. There was a bowl of hot water with numerous veggies. The veggies would have been welcomed if they had taste. We added hot sauce to sort... More

We had the locro, the rustic potatoes and pumpkin soup! It was delicious! We had the lemon meringue pie for dessert and it was just amazing. Service was attentive and the local artesanal beer was even better. Highly recommend it but booking ahead is needed to avoid the wait

We went here with a few friends to celebrate a birthday. Everyone in our group enjoyed their respective meals. The attendants were also very nice. I met up with the owner the night before and he was very cool. The place is not large, and the outdoor patio is practically useless when it gets windy. The inside atmosphere is quite... More

Great atmosphere. Only spot on the strip that feels like your are chilling in someone's backyard. Very cozy. Tree in the yard provides shade as you sip on the 2 kinds of artisanal beer and munch on free popcorn. Empanadas were good also. Could get filled up pretty quickly so might be hard to find a spot during peak hours.

Mostly loved the outdoor seating space on a green lawn, under the trees but with plenty of sun. The service is good. The traditional Argentinian stew is delicious! And the beer is satisfying after a long hike

We had a few beers in the sunshine and a great vegetarian lasagna, made individually, eaten in their garden. Indoors would be nice too if it's cold. (A chilly wind is pretty standard in El Chalten). Good customer service as well. Great place to sit after a tough day walking.

This place is very popular and busy so make sure you get there early (before 19:30!) The food was spectacular and the service impeccable. The beer is great as well. Must have soup and empanadas!

Referring to tripadvisor's nice review, we went there for dinner. The beer was quite disappointing. The black was ok. The other beer was not well done. Empanada picante was way too spicy. The service looked quite arrogant. Some local people told us that the quality has deteriorated recently.

Service was friendly and helpful. Food was average. Shared some empanadas- ok, salad ok and stew was ok. For a microbrewery, we were disappointed in the beers. They only had 2 and we didn't like either. It was late so we were glad to get food

We visited this little place after a hike of a few hours. We had the locro stew and traditional potatoes. They were both amazingly good. Who knew a roasted potato could taste so good? Washed down with their house pilsner. Highly recommend. A bit more expensive than other options in town, but very good.
