For over 30 years The Shack has been serving up consistently good food. Menu is loaded with over 30 choices! Complete with Shakes / Sundaes / Ice Cream / Sweet Tea / Homemade Pies / Fried Pies / I liked that Salad was offered with the Farm-Raised Catfish, instead of Fries. Catfish was lightly battered & fried golden brown, as... More

Other than the great Italian restaurant just outside the West Gate of Hot Springs Village, 'The Shack' is probably the best place to eat in the entire area! It was recommended by one of the 'locals' who owns an antique store. It is a very busy mid-priced Americana restaurant with diner-like offerings such as homemade fresh ground hamburgers/ cheeseburgers, french... More

This is definitely a local favorite and we now know why. The staff was very friendly, service was outstanding, food was hot and delicious and very reasonably priced. Burgers are made... More

Good hamburger and sweet tea. On Hwy 7 north of Hot Springs Village. Family owned. Across road from Jessieville schools so it can be crowded prior to sporting events

If you're traveling Highway 7 to or from Hot Springs, Jessieville might seem like too close to make a stop. It's not. The Shack, located directly across the street from the school, has a charm that makes it worth the stop, even if you do have to access the bathrooms from the outside. The food is simply outstanding. The four... More

Stopped on my way home from Hot Springs, really crowded with a school bus full of cheerlears and pom squad. Sat at the counter, ordered and figured it would take forever, but not all that long. Burger was prett good, bun could have been toasted to make it better. Onion Rings were good, Chocolate Shake was great. They worked thru... More
