Tried this place on the strength of the reviews on TripAdvisor on our one evening in Uyuni after the salt flat tour. The pizzas, although a little on the expensive side for Bolivia, are absolutely fantastic. We've tried pizza on a number of occasions in different places over 6 months in Argentina and Chile. The best we've had before this... More

Old fashioned tasty pizza. Spicy beef actually had some heat in it, which was a great change for us. Spent 30 min searching for it but well worthwhile. It's not in the "square" you need to find Hotel Tinto & knock on the door, but worth the effort. In hindsight we would have stayed at Hotel Tinto & just had... More

My family and I stopped in to the pizza shop, it was a bit difficult to find but it was worth the hunt. The pizza was crispy and the kids loved it. We got great ideas for pictures on the Salar. Not as cheap as other places in Bolivia but worth it.

Very friendly, good pizza and even better size of it only couple blocks away from the main street in Uyuni. They sale alcohol and it's self service place (order drinks and food at the bar). It can be tricky to find as it at the back of the hotel called Tonito. Just go onto hotel pass the reception and it... More

Easy to find, following the tripadvisor descriotions. Really nice service and awesome pizza. They do have gluten free pizza! And they are save for celiacs and all this in bolivia! Great.

We are so happy you liked our gluten free crust! We make it with quinoa and flax. We believe everyone should be able to enjoy pizza. More

This place was easy to find - thanks to previous reviews and is so cute! Feels warm and welcoming and the lovely lady serving us was great. I am gluten free and shared the nachos and 2 GF pizzas (margarita and 'the works') and they were amazing! So good to have GF pizza in Uyuni, Bolivia of all places! Highly... More

Arrived pretty early staff were super friendly, food was amazing, great variety without being excessive. It's pretty traditional pizzas (pizza in Italy was similar to those served here) with less topping so you can enjoy the taste, which I love. Dough was so fresh and had a great taste. Love the Louisiana hot sauce on offer to add that extra... More

I won't deny it's expensive, especially for Bolivia but we'd been in SA for 3 months and were craving good pizza (the pizzas we ate in Chile, Argentina & Brazil were all disappointing). We decided to give this place a try and the topping was delicious, flavours just right. The pizza dough was slightly undercooked in the middle. It was... More

This restaurant is not where the pin is on Google Maps or on the Trip Advisor map. They need to clearly state on Trip Advisor how to get to their restaurant. Even the locals didn't know where it was when I asked them.

As it says on the Trip Advisor page In Tonito Hotel. We have 2 signs outside the hotel and the Trip Advisor map is accurate. Sorry you couldn't find us and your 1 star rating for a place you couldn't find is so unfair. More

Took a while to find this hidden gem, but once inside it has a great atmosphere, and great pizzas! It's inside the lobby of Hotel Tonito, beside the entrance of the army camp, located at the junction of Av Avaroa and Av Ferroviaria. We had 2 small pizzas shared between 3 people, the Quattro Formaggi - surprised to find blue... More

Description
Yes our pizzas are more expensive than what you are used to in South America. We take pride in hand preparing our creative toppings they all require extra steps - like 5 days to sun dry our tomatoes, bussing in (550 kilometers away) kilos of basil to create our home made pesto, I personally grill the marinated grilled chicken on my gas grill and fire roast the sweet red peppers before peeling them to ensure the best flavor. not to mention the blue cheese imported from argentina and cheddar that tastes great on the mexican pizza with fresh cilantro. We oven roast 20 kilos daily of roma tomatoes to make our pizza sauce. we even serve Starbucks espresso. Our customers are seeking something tasty and we know they appreciate the extra effort put into Minuteman pizza. Come experience us inside the Tonito Hotel.
