The atmosphere was good and the food complemented everything. There are local birds the sing on the trees while you eat. Quite a good place

Now known as Roots of Africa, a lovely restaurant that you can pop in for a quick cuppa or lunch! Nice setting as there is a garden centre next door! There prices are reasonable and you get a more than fair sized amount in some cases like the pancakes you can order 1 meal for 2 people!

It's also a lovely little green oasis (it is located within a garden centre)... More

Lovely relaxing experience, take 40min out of your busy day for breakfast, brunch or lunch to gather yourself. Perfect for that out of town work trips to have a refreshing smoothie while catching up with emails on their super fast wireless. Thank you Merilicious...

I'm currently sitting under one of the shady trees in the Merilicious cafe listening to the birds. Part of me can't even believe I'm in Francistown. After two months of working in a nearby village I thought the only places to get a feed in Francistown were fast food restaurants located at the ever popular but over crowded malls and... More

This place is great - its clean and green and quiet. The food and drinks are delicious, healthy and a refreshing change from normal road-food junk. Safe parking and wi-fi also make it a good place to stop-over if you are travelling through to/from the Zambezi, Okavango, Zimbabwe etc. The owner is a mine of local knowledge. Try it -... More
