This was possibly my most frustrating restaurant I have ever encountered. Staff just don't give a hoot. Food is decent but what's the point of eating a meal where one is simply frustrated with such poor service. I am not exaggerating, it's really bad!. It's sad as it could be such a gem in the area. Pool is a good... More

Slightly Overpriced, but decent Lebanese and European cuisine. The pool is nice although not very clean. Service is slow, like most places in Ghana, but wifi is working g well and smoothies are really good! A rather posh place, but worth if you're looking for a European escape in Kumasi. Popular with obronis.

My husband and I took a walk to sir max for lunch. We had a lovely lunch. I had a steak sandwich which was amazing and my husband had a pepper steak which was just as good. The atmosphere during the week is nice and quiet and relaxing around a wonderful blue pool. I will definitely go back to try... More

We ate here on our first night in Kumasi. he restaurant is poolside, with nice ambience. There seemed to be lots of staff floating around, and service was good. The menu is huge, with lots of options, but their specialty is Lebanese. The wine choice was very limited, and what we were shown in the bottle did not look like... More

The only thing "max" about this restaurant is the maximal disappointment we experienced. A business colleague recommended the restaurant. The glacially slow and inattentive service in combination with the mediocre food and higher than normal prices for Kumasi made for a very painful 3 hour ordeal. Not recommended.

Location and taxi rank right outside the establishment make extremely convenient if you are not driving. Rooms are clean, but very basic. Outdoor restaurant, which sits right next to one wing attracts numerous customers who use seating right outside rooms is quite unnerving for security-conscious individuals.

Nice friendly place. Friendly staff. Food was good and service too. Nice swimming pool but a bit small. Good lebanese food.

Nice seating area/atmosphere around the pool. The portion sizes are not huge, but the food is tasty. We have only ever eaten from the lebanese menu. Unfortunately, in the three times we've gone for lunch, they've never had kafta or lahbne and only once had kibbe. So its a bit hit or miss.
