Tucked away down a back street, but very large, once you get through the gates. There's almost a maidan, between the walls, with tables set out round the edges, outside, but under cover. Food is mostly Indian [mostly north Indian/Gujerati] plus Chinese. Nothing exceptional, but good and reliable. Service was a little slow, but friendly. Doesn't take credit cards.

I have been here a couple of times for their Friday night buffet. Begins at 9pm. Costs Ksh750 which isn't exactly cheap but for what you get, you would pay a lot more at a restaurant. Its all you can eat buffet so get there early and get in the queue. If you are late you mght find that some... More

Great food, and not too pricy. It's normally the home base for a rotary club. The staff is nice, and the atmosphere is more formal than other restaurants.

The Simba Club is a venue large venue -perfect for parties- but is pretty heavy on the concrete and lacking charm. That being said, they have a great selection of Indian and local food that are well prepared and usually not very slow, either. Note that it can be hard to find a piki-piki (motorcycle taxi) outside on the road,... More

The Friday night buffet for 750 Ksh will be good for your stomach and your sole. Some of the best Indian food I've had in Kisumu! Haven't been on any other night yet though.

Go on Friday nights at 9 pm for the most amazing Indian buffet! There is a huge variety of food, all for only 750 KSH. Go very, very hungry!

Located between United Mall and main bus park, Simba club is a members establishment that allows temporary membership to diners. Friday nights buffets are the main attraction to non-members with tasty Indian cuisine. The menu is well balanced, ambience average, service good. It looks obscure during the day but comes alive in the evening, colorful, breezy. Yum..!!
