Wow amazing location with authentic Mexican food. Now for the really amazing part, they are the only restaurant in Punta Cana we know of that truly understands Gluten Free and celiac. From the hostess, to amazing waitress to the owner himself who greeted us, talked...through there policies of zero cross contamination - it was amazing. Possibly the best Mexican food I’ve had. We’re not talking beans and rice, we’re talking fresh, made to order, full of flavor. Great portions, great outside seating, great staff. The owner/chef made his rounds too. We had the weekend special soup, the flautas, and the...enchiladas. The enchilada sauce was my highlight. Fresh tomatillo sauce that I could eat by itself with a spoon. Perhaps a little spicy if you’re sensitive, but I am in love with the sauce.More

We had a late lunch at this nice restaurant in Bavaro in mid-February 2023. The service was very good and included the owner, Pastrata, helping us with our order and chatting to us about our meal. My wife had the fish tacos which were excellent...and I had the chicken fajitas which were very good. The margueritas were also great! Prices were very reasonable.Would definitely recomment and be happy to eat there again in the future.More

Faced with some extremely average food at our resort, we were desperate to go somewhere which would deliver some flavour. Pastrata did not let us down. The guacamole was great, we had a few mains between us to share, all of which were very tasty....Washed down with a couple of really nice margaritas. Well worth the trip!More

I was REALLY looking forward to trying this restaurant but overall it was a huge letdown. Went in on a Sunday afternoon. The waitress looked like she would rather kill me then serve me. Not only no smile, but it was like I did something...to anger her. The coconut shrimp was only ok. Only positive was The passionfruit magarita, which was excellent. I had planned on eating here a lot on my vacation but don't see myself going back.More

Alcoholic drinks were good. Food was delicious; Menu had lots of choices. Service was good. We have learned to go to the restaurants around 5-6pm before the crowds come out and the service is better.

Amazing food! Very fresh and the owner Mr. Hernan Pastrata was very dedicated to the service was excellent. Highly recommend it to anyone who comes to this area (also, they make vegan and vegetarian accommodated items, so flexibility is their area when it comes to...your diet)!More

I saw a lot of mexican restaurant, but once I tried the mole enchiladas I felt just back home, they are the best. Not to say about the pescadillas that have to have a special seasoning if not they don't feel like mexican pescadillas, well,...they have that seasoning.More

One of my favorite restaurants in area! food is delicious, always fresh and tasty. The owner of the restaurant is always there and always comes to greet his customers in person!
