Stopped in Anglers after traveling all afternoon and had a great meal, I had prime rib and wife had catfish, both were good, great view if river and about the only place to have a beer or glass of wine!! Would definitely go back, waitress was very friendly and answered all our questions!!

Evidently we made a poor choice by ordering steak at a place named "Anglers". Must be a fish place, although it is also promoted for its steaks. Our ribeyes were poorly prepared, although it was probably impossible to grill them better, since the cuts of meat were of very poor quality. Service was slow and inattentive. Total waste of time... First the service was not slow at all as some readers have mentioned. The restaurant has an extensive menu but Catfish is their specialty. They do Catfish well. The best deal is the large Catfish plate which has about a pound of fried fresh Catfish along with a side, beans, pickles, hush puppies. There is plenty of food for two... More

Went there with friends from the area. They said we would love the view. They were right. We sat on the outdoor deck overlooking the White River as it gently flowed past us. The food was delicious AND it is the ONLY place to get a beer in the county.

This was handy to our rental so we had breakfast here. We tried to eat lunch there but couldn't get anyone to seat us. Breakfast was pretty good and large portions. It has a lovely view of the river.

We had plenty of time but it must have taken 30-45 minutes to get 2 meals. It was not crowded. Catfish was very good.

First time to eat there. Nice atmosphere. Sitting on the banks of the White River, good view. Watched boats go by. There is also a deck you can sit on but it was windy so we did not sit there. Service was just okay, probably what you get most places these days. Food was good. One person had beef tips... More

Waitress said fish pieces were big so I just got the one piece. Mistake. It was just four bites. Everything tasted good though. Service was not great.

Stopped in for lunch recently and enjoyed dining on the banks of the White River. The food was good - a little pricey for what we got - but the decor and setting was nice.

On the advice of Jack at River Valley Rentals, we had our supper at the restaurant. We ordered steak with a salad. We can stay without a doubt that was the best salad we have had. The homemade ranch dressing was DELICIOUS. The steak was cooked to our taste.
