We had some awesome baklava at a restaurant. It was so good we went back the next day only to find out they had ordered it from Sanabel Bakery. They sent us down there instead and we bought a big box of baklava for our drive to Dana. Wish we could get it shipped to the U.S.!

We stopped by Sanabel to pick up a few desserts after dinner. The staff seemed disinterested in helping us and were busy chatting among themselves. They had many different kinds of pastries on display and we asked for a couple of them that looked appealing. They tasted okay..nothing spectacular. The price quoted for them was also average. Nothing too expensive... More

After dinner across the street, we stopped in this sweet shop. From the moment we went in, they were giving us all sorts of samples for free! It seemed they enjoyed showing us foreigners the various types of treats they make there. We ended up buying a few items and I am convinced to this day they undercharged us even... More

We've been there multiple times. Last visit, we bought baklava. Got probably ripped off, but it was extremely delicious. Would be a 5 star review if prices were transparant, but it remains a nice place to grab a picknick before visiting Petra. Try the pizzas and some kind of egyptian cookie!

Typical bakery in a small town trying to rip off tourists ! We tried to pick up a cake for our wedding anniversary, and were very disappointed with the high price that they quoted. US 50.00 for a small cake !

We wandered into this bakery and the floor manager showed us all around the bakery without trying to push us into buying anything in fact he even offered us some bread to take with us and cut us small pieces of the cakes to try. Great atmosphere and worth going in just to look around as if you have the... More

Rip off: we paid 16 JD for 16 mini cookies, 10 small bread sticks, and 2 cheese buns. Worse yet, I gave the cashier a 50 JD bill, he gave me back 24 JD. When I told him that he should give me back 34 JD, he did not respond. I had to ask a second time and shown him... More
