On the strength of many comments, we headed straight for this restaurant. The mixed salad for 2 would have been interesting with its little plum and couple of dates and the olive oil/vinegar-make-your-own dressing, BUT it was spoiled by limp browning lettuce and chicory. Then, while we were still eating our limp lettuce, the waiter turned up with our main... More

Food was really amazing for a good price - way cheaper than in other restaurants there. What we really loved is that restaurant was full but we were the only tourists there which means that it has to be good if locals eat there. We started with some tapas like chicken soup (full of meat), mushrooms and shrimps (best one... More

Of the 4 restaurants we ate in Garachico, the food in the this place was the best of all of them. As previous reviews have said this is a no frills place which serves more traditional tapas - we had the best canarian potatoes we have ever had, juicy garlic prawns, tender meatballs and spanish omlette all washed down with... Delicious white wine. Hadron peppers, potatoes and large grilled sea bass. Very friendly owner (despite the language barrier). Gifts at the end of the meal: half bottle of red wine, festive biscuits and a glass of local liqueur. The Guardian had coincidentally published a travel review of Tenerife the same day, and mentioned this restaurant and owner/owner's wife by name... More

If you are staying in Garachico, it is worth to visit this restaurant. The staff is not speaking very good English, but they are friendly and helpful. We choose fresh fish directly in the kitchen. Nice experience! The home wine is not expensive and it is very tasty. Very good prices and delicious local food.

We arrived early doors and it was already doing a roaring trade. Tapas tasty and very reasonable. Service good and friendly. Only downside is that the bright lighting gives it a bit of a utilitarian feel, so if you want a snug romantic meal for two then you may want to look elsewhere.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel ( La Quinta Rocha ) and it was wonderful. It is a local typical restaurant where strangely enough it's pretty much Spanish only, but don't let that put you off as the owner is very patient but a certain level of Spanish would help! The restaurant opens onto the kitchen so you see... More

I ordered a fish soup and langostinos. Both very tasty and plenty. Friendly service with good humor. The restaurant is rather small but cosy and with no gimmicks. Located next to the town centre and a free public parking.

My Wife and I visited here for dinner after reading the reviews and were not disappointed. The host is a genial character, the room is clean looking and nicely decorated with clean toilets too. I ordered Sea Bass with salad and my Wife the Rabbit Stew. The Sea Bass was cooked nicely and was very tasty and my Wife really... More

Had both lunch and dinner at this restaurant today and thoroughly enjoyed both. It's obviously very popular with the local residents which is always a good sign. Prawns fantastic, just off main square. dinner : 53 euro for two starters and mains And a bottle of red and water. Very good service, we mentioned we had been undercharged at lunch... More
