We rented an apartment at Mero beach (10 minutes drive away), so we can't comment on the hotel facilities here. It's under Swiss/German ownership/management, and it all seems very well run. The restaurant here was highly recommended to us (by the Swedish owner of our rental apartment), and we specially went-over the day beforehand (for a sandwich lunch) in order... More

This was a great find when looking for a place for lunch. The view is stunning and the food was fresh and delicious. The burgers and fries looked good on the menu but we were wanting fish so the chef made us fish burgers which were yummy. Very friendly chef/server. A great place to end an afternoon at Mero Beach.

We went out to dinner one evening to the Tamarind Tree. Nice restaurant with good food and service. Parking area was easy to enter and exit.

I was fortunate enough to vacation in Dominica for two weeks (including Carnival... spectacular), even more fortunate that my hosts are now residents, with a lot of insight on not only what to see, but, where to eat! Tamarind Tree Restaurant is on their list and it is now on mine (we ate there on two occasions as they live... More

The actual cook - a young Swiss Lady - does her best to serve you good food dispite the difficult availability of respective raw matgerial. Good water, excellent local beer from the draft.

We stayed in Dominca for 2 weeks at a friend's house near Roseau, so we can't comment on the accommodations at Tamarind Tree. It seemed nice, though. Not over-the-top, but like a decent inn that we'd call a "motel" in the U.S. A friend recommended dinner here, so we ventured up the mountain and found the Tamarind Tree easily. The... More

Good food and service, AC worked and accomodations were clean and neat. Great location if you have a rental car. Beware of the boiling lake hike, it's much mire difficult than we expected. Check out the run factory across the. Street and go into the city for some culture, then head to the mountains for some amazing waterfalls. Snorkel in... More
