Stopped in several times and always had a great buffet, Chicken and other food along with the freash cooked pies. Its not your run of the mill dinners at all. Just to let you know though they do not take credit cards.

The people who served at this restaurant were as great as the food. We were greeted like they knew us, always helpful and told us about the cooking and area. Great home cooked food and such variety on the buffet. Pies! Cobbler! Such wonderful food, definitely going back.

This was a very nice stop along Scenic 71 Highway. Grandma's Blue Bird Cafe is open Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. We had breakfast buffet but you can order off the menu, and the lunch buffet looked AMAZING! Be sure to bring cash as they do not accept cards and it's listed they do accept checks and cash. Beautiful location in the Ozarks between Fayetteville and Alma, Arkansas. Food was excellent "southern comfort" style buffet..even a pie buffet! All I had was seasoned appropriately and there was plenty of fried chicken, meatloaf, chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes, cornbread, catfish, hush puppies, fried okra. Pie buffet included: lemon meringue, coconut cream, chocolate meringue, strawberry, peach and apple cobbler along... More

Best homemade comfort food buffet - all cooked to perfection, best service and amazing view. It's definitely worth the drive. And, 2 dessert buffets - all sorts of home cooked pies, dessert bars & cobbler!! I might have gained weight - but it was well worth it!! 😉
