We went to Bennys for breakfast on Saturday during Easter break. We ordered the basic, 2 bacon and egg rolls, 1 eggs on toast and a coffee and milkshake. Because it’s a busy time, we knew there will be wait time. But 1 hour wait...time is just too long. Every single table was waiting for over 45 mins, even for the basic coffee. All people at different tables were continuously asking the staff to forewarn the customers that they would have to wait for an hour before the food came, but business is business and they never mentioned that to us!
Eventually when we got the food, it was bland, not much in taste and the Turkish bread was not even toasted properly! There was some verbals fights which broke out with a customer who waited for an hour for a coffee and scone and when he got it, the scone was forgotten! And the owner lady has no customer service etiquettes! She fought with the customer in front of al the other people seating inside and shouted at him asking him to leave. She mentioned that the customer had insulted one of the staff! But with that wait time, which hungry customer would be able to hold back their temper! Every table started talking with the other table and complained continuously on the wait time and average food. The table next to us had ordered avocado on toast and she got it after and hour. She turned around and asked me, do you think this takes an hour?
I think the problem is that the owner lady makes the coffee and the owner husband makes food, and rest others 2-3 people were just wait staff who bear the brunt of delays from customers!
Well, we learnt a lesson, didn’t go back again. I don’t mind waiting ever if the food is great, but that was the most disappointing bit of the whole affair!More
Nice little dog friendly cafe , down a lane behind the main shops.
Covid safe. Nice staff and quick service. Had a nice tea and coffee and yummy carrot cake and a melting moment ... all good. Nice little deck out the back. Modern and...cleanMore
We had lunch here a few days ago. Although the service was a little slow, the staff was very friendly and super helpful with gluten and dairy free requests, which we really appreciated. The food was also great and I recommend the eggs benedict. They...were very accommodating of the kids in our family and our dog. We would definitely come back.More
We went here for breakfast and ordered basic bacon and egg rolls and I have never experienced such slow service in my life. I had booked a table and then when we arrived it had been given to another family and then it took them...15 minutes to sort that out.
Then We waited over an hour an a half for our food and coffee. When we finally recieved our food, the portions were small and coffee cold and to top it all off it was overpriced.More
We visited Culburra Beach for the weekend and were very glad to find Bennys. Walking into the cafe it looks "average" and what lifts it to above average is the staff and the food. We had a lunch and then breakfast here, 6 of us...and everyone came away happy with what they ordered. It is a really friendly place, the food is fresh and delicious, highly recommend it.More
Off the Main Street, accessible from the Woolworth’s car park or through an alleyway off the Price Edward Road car park, Benny’s has indoor and outdoor (undercover) dining. Lunch and breakfasts only, there’s a large choice, good coffee and good service.
We came for brunch and unfortunately I must have ordered the worst thing on the menu. The nachos were very soggy and bland , with nothing fresh on the plate.
My partners meal looked much better and tastier. The cafe looked out to the supermarket...car park which wasn’t very pleasant but the redeeming factor was the cafe gave away free packets of coffee grounds for the garden.More

Hi Chris, sorry we don't have wifi - it's something we really should look at getting. The Bowling Club does have it and while I'm pretty sure they will be packed at dinner time I think you're relatively safe to find a quiet corner at lunch time to work.
