Love their shrimp tacos and shrimp salad. Their lines are usually short but there's a bit of waiting to get your food since they cook them fresh. If you sit by the wall near Starbucks, you can get their fast WiFi.

I've known the existence of Rubio's since forever, but for some reason, I've just never been to one. It's not like I had a bad impression of them or anything, just never went, until recently. And they're great! Healthy Mexican seafood fast food that's yummy. Have already been back and will definitely go back again.

Prior to my last experience at Rubios, I had many delicious meals there. I will not go back! I received the wrong food and when I went to the counter to exchange it for what I wanted, the cashier told me it was my fault and was very irritated with me. She kept berating me and refused to allow me... More

My daughters and I had made a plan for the summer to visit places to eat we have never been to. We decided to try Rubio's and we weren't disappointed. My youngest daughter got the Pan-Seared Shrimp enchiladas with verde sauce which came with black beans and Mexican rice. She enjoyed it very much. My older daughter and I each... More

Me and my family come here at least once a month on Taco Tuesday. We order the fish tacos which are amazing and the price is even better. The food quality is really good and it is always clean. The service is always great. This is definitely one of our usual spots.

I had the fish tacos and they were really good. Liked their whole place, it was bright and cheery, ordering was easy. It would be nicer if the tables were farther apart, but it wasn't a busy time of day, so it wasn't too bad.

The flavor is gone from the fish tacos. I usually have the fish tacos with great flavor. Something has happen. No flavor any more, its gone, lost somewhere in the corporate world. I will not be going back and we usually eat there at least every two weeks.

I took the grand kids to get a haircut and run a couple of errands. Lunchtime approached so we decided to get a quick meal. Since we were in a large shopping area and there appeared to be a number of restaurants, I told my son-in-law to pick one. He suggested Rubio's. We walked up to the counter, placed our... More

Driving through quickly, we found Rubio's and was glad we stopped. We loved the fresh tacos...flour tortillas...fried fish and steak. The staff was attentive, trying to find Rubio's in our area...but not to be. Much better than Taco Bell, people!!! BUT Northern California does not have Rubio's...boo hoo

Description
The first restaurant was opened in 1983 in San Diego by Ralph Rubio and his father, Ray, who started the fish taco phenomenon that spread across the nation. Today, Rubio’s menu has grown from The Original Fish Taco® to include additional chef-crafted seafood recipes that feature shrimp, wild salmon and ono. In addition to sustainable seafood, Rubio’s offers chargrilled chicken and steak, fresh made guacamole and salsas and sauces that are prepared daily.
