This spot was as good as the reviews told us. Very friendly service as well as the other diners. Coffee flowing non stop and great food. We had the biscuits and gravy and the cornbread meal which we enjoyed. Visiting from NZ we had been hoping to find a place where the locals go and this was exactly the place.... More

Lunch or breakfast always had a good experience. Busy place most of the time. Nice waitresses. Just a friendly feel.

I have been going to 24th Street Cafe for many years. My fav is the chili verde omelette, but the breakfast sandwich is great too. Let's not forget about the amazing pumpkin pancakes and the sinful butter that comes with them...and the blueberry pancakes...someone stop me.

Ask for fried mashed potatoes with your breakfast. Yummy!! This café has all the usual breakfast dishes along with some less common and some incredible specials. Enjoy!!

This is a great old-fashioned diner with wonderful, homemade food. Great corned beef hash, chili verde, Texas (no beans) chili, and you can even get fried trout and eggs for breakfast! Wonderful place. We came back a second time because we liked it so much!

24th Street Cafe has been a favorite of locals for years. The generous portions and the home town cooking is sure to satisfy the most discriminate palate. You will think you have stepped back in time when you enter this restaurant with a flair for less hectic bygone times.

Ok. Had to go back to photograph the almond blossoms. Well, that's my excuse to get more or those fantastic cinnamon rolls. Plural!! Yes. We bought 7 extra, after eating 2 there and sadly shared 2 we took home for some friends. Oh well...might have to go back to see the wild flowers blooming. Tried the Reuben but got the... More

Andrew Zimmerman says if there's a long line the food is worth it. Well that certainly describes this cafe. I ordered the famous trout and was quickly able to see why it's so famous. My wife ordered Chile verdi with eggs and it also was amazing. At other tables we seen everyone enjoying there food. This will be a must... More

The inside of the place is nice but too crowded for me, I prefer the patio. The breakfasts at 24th Street are equal or better than I have had anywhere I have traveled.

Thank Sam J
