This place is always crowded and it is easy to see why. The food is incredible! The place is very small but there is some seating outside or you can get it to go. The pasta with chicken and pesto is fabulous and very popular. The calzones are gigantic and look incredible. I still haven't gotten one because the pasta... More

You walk up to the counter, give your order, take a seat, wait for your number to be called and then pick up your food. The guys at the counter were not overly friendly, but nice enough. They were clearly trying to move fast. Every time I've passed this restaurant, it has been very crowded. When I went there, I... More

This place is in a mall which is not very appealing. The place itself is small and busy. However, the food is very good.

Gypsy's is an amazing restaurant all around. It's been ranked one of the most popular and greatest Italian restaurants in the East Bay, and this is definitely apt. Their food is fast and very tasty. Their calzones have people lining up onto the street. Be prepared during popular hours during the academic year for long lines (they move quickly though.)

You can see the food being prepared in the kitchen behind the counter, as you line up to order and pay for your food. It is very fresh and tasty. However, don't expect fine dining or a server, or even a bathroom. I had the gnocchi with pomodoro sauce, my friend had tagliatelle pesto. Both dishes were hot and fresh.... More

At first glance, I was unsure if I should walk in...a few homeless people outside, restaurant space not that large, tables were small but my oh my, am I glad I didn't follow that first instinct. This food is piping hot cooked right on the stove. Fresh, cheesy, great ingredients. I ordered the Crazy Alfredo with sausage, chicken, peppers, cheese... More

Worth standing on line for. Gypsy's offers a wide variety of pizzas, calzones, and freshly prepared pasta dishes. All of the food is cooked to order and the line, although long, moves along at a decent pace. The food is reasonably priced with most entrees between $7 and $9 with a 10% discount if you pay cash. Most impressive is... More

The price is reasonable, and the quality of food is great. Sometimes it is hard to grab a seat during lunch peak time, but that means this business is doing great with their food.

Freshly made pasta! Very delicious. My favorite dishes are Shrimp Alfredo and Clam Linguine. Overall white sauce pasta taste much better than tomato sauce. White sauce is creamy and tasty while tomato sauce is a bit too sour.

maybe I had ordered the wrong meal, but I just can't find any particular things like others said. You could give it a try, but I will definitely go somewhere next time. There are lot eateries around the area.
