We visited this restaurant a couple of times, a few years ago, and we couldn't stop raving about it. However this trip, things had changed. It seems to have changed more to a bit of a pub-ish atmosphere, very, very loud!! The food that we so fondly remembered and looked forward to, was ok... only ok. Not bad, not great.... More

Frida Resturant in Beverly Hills is just okay. I ordered items that they are known for which was suggested by the waiter. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the food didn't taste that good. I sat outside on the street as I wanted to take in the LA vibe. It was a beautiful day.

My husband can't stop raving about the rib eye tacos, and I loved the fajitas, and the table made guac.

Walking along Beverly Drive with so many choices of places to eat, we were enticed by not only the food but the margarita menus. My frozen mango margarita was perfectly made, the table side guacamole excellent and our main courses cooked to perfection. Slightly pricey for Mexican food but totally worth it.

Good Mexican food near Marion hotel. Nothing super, but all was very good. Just that it was not memorable or distinctive. I suspect there are way better Mexican restaurants in LA. Location was convenient and we were pretty pooped. Good attentive staff, but food was okay.

The food was typical Mexican fare, but was very fresh and the service was very good. The watermelon margarita was also very good. A great option for Mexican in Beverly Hills.

I am being generous with three stars. We waited 50 minutes for a salmon salad & two tacos. The salad didn't come with avocados as on menu & not even three ounces of salmon. Tacos just OK.

Frida is a really good mexican restaurant, but you are paying Beverly Hills prices. There are so many great mexican restaurants in LA that it is hard to justify the prices here, but the food an drinks are good and if that is what you are craving it's the best mexican in Beverly Hills...

Staying in Beverly Hills

Neighbourhood Profile
Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
