Honestly delicious Turkish food, loads of it and really friendly service, we will absolutely be getting our friends to come here.

We went to this place by chance as the other restaurants in the area were closed - it was about 4pm and some of them reopen after 6pm. There are no regrets going to The Black Horse Restaurant as we enjoyed our visit. My fish...More
Visited the Black Horse for the first time in a couple of years and what a change. I was greeted by a very polite and friendly member of staff who explained that they had a new chef and new menu focusing on Turkish cuisine. I...More
Popped in here on the way back from a picnic in Washington and boy are we glad we did! The staff were welcoming and friendly and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. There was a singer, Tyler, who was excellent and we ended up dancing...More
Nice decor and exemplary service from the very young staff but Sunday lunch was disappointing and definitely not good value. When I order roast chicken, I expect both dark and light meat from a whole bird not just two obviously individual chicken legs. I also...More
Quaint village public house in rural setting. Choice of real ales. Menu has wide choice. Food is average. Service needs to improve. Visit was a big disappointment.
The pub put on a buffet for my Mum's wake - bit odd perhaps, but the service is great, the staff are friendly and the food was excellent.
Had great meal here with a friend, we had salmon gravalax to start, followed by haddock and chips and seafood pasta, both excellent, very friendly and helpful service. Will go back.
Enjoyed a family lunch for Mothers' Day. Pub and restaurant busy so service was slow. Waited an hour for food. Staff were good and great atmosphere in the hostelry. Quality of food good. A satisfactory lunch and overall enjoyable experience.
