Often my really positive reviews are for places that surprise me. Well....I can't say there was much surprising on the menu. This is about as standard of roadhouse cafe for breakfast as it gets. But.....it was really, really good. The bacon was exceptional, as was the french toast. Everything else was very, very good. Because I'm a bit of cheapskate,... More

Stopped by here on our way back from Mammoth. We had intended on having lunch at Copper Top but it is closed on Tuesdays, so we made our way over to Country Kitchen. Great food and it satisfied my hankering for BBQ. Everyone had a great meal!

When we arrived the restaurant was packed. From the time we ordered it took almost an hour to get our food. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't really good either. They messed up 3 of our 4 orders and we had to send one meal back.

Great little diner. Hit it up on our way back from Mammoth. Food was good. Teens enjoyed the breakfast burritos. There is a really big menu selection. All in all we filled our bellies and were pleased.

Stayed in Big Pine for 2 nights after Thanksgiving to get out of town after a hectic holiday. My husband and I had lunch here on arrival to Big Pine - we both had bbq specials. My pulled pork sandwich was delicious, and the french fries were right out of the fryer and perfect. Hubby had bbq tri tip -... More

We had stopped here on a Monday morning for breakfast, our first time. Service was attentive at seating us and drinks. Server was friendly and talkative and food was served quickly. Our meals were good, and coffee was good.I will stop here again. Note: Do not park at the Shell gas station as the sign is confusing.

Perfect place for breakfast. Big menu, prices were decent and friendly service. I had the breakfast burrito which was huge and filled me up until dinner. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. They were not stingy with the coffee. This is a classic and excellent small-town breakfast place. Perfect!

A good place to stop, sevice is good, friendly and breakfast was perfect. They get busy so if you're in a hurry on a busy weekend be prepared to wait, well worth the stop for a mom and pop, homemade meal. ..
