The marina parking lot was closed, so all the boaters parked their vehicles in, and about the parking areas of this, and the adjacent restaurant....sort of messy. Orders are placed at a counter, where you pay, and are requested to tip. Being "light eaters", we each ordered a crab cocktail and we split an order of fish and chips. The... More

The place: best oysters and clam chowder ever! We had oysters both the raw and the grilled with chorizo butter, and loved both; freshest from Tamales bay, not salty. Clam chowder were made of fresh clams and cream, not canned or that powder stuff. Also had the crab sandwich that was good but not great. Counter service and very nice... More

Having read rave reviews about this restaurant, my husband and I decided to stop in for lunch. As ardent seafood lovers, we were impressed. We had the dungennes crab which was just delicious, and came tossed in a garlic butter sauce which was to die for. It came with garlic bread and fries, and it was so much food, we... More

Stopped off for a drink (beer and wine) and something light to carry us over until dinner. Was able to get a good glass of wine, beer and tasty shrimp cocktail. Loved how they loaded the cup up with shrimp, avocado, tomato and tasty cocktail sauce. Next time we'll try their oysters (wonderful variety) and Dungeness crab cocktail.

This is a simple, yet comfortable place to have a quick bite if you don't want a formal restaurant setting and would rather use your time exploring Bodega Head (a couple of miles down the road). You order at the counter and have a seat at one of the 5 or 6 tables inside or 2-3 outside. We had the... More

Stopped here for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon while driving done the coast highway. Started with a cup of the clam chowder (New England style) which was very good and then had some beer battered fried oysters. Who knew grilled oysters could be so yummy! A great place for a solo, quick snack. Service is slow due to overwhelming crowds, so be prepared. Well worth it though.

Fisherman's Cove is a local, family-owned seafood shack and fishing-marine supply store specializing in fresh local oysters that are grown on Tamales Bay. We serve them on the half shell or barbecued with your choice of six different house specialty sauces such as garlic butter sauce, cocktail sauce, chorizo butter with a hint of lemon and more. Try our unique oysters with pesto sauce and applewood bacon, or opt for our oysters Kilpatrick or Sweet Heaters with pickled jalepeno, shallots and raw mignonette. All of our ingredients are incredibly fresh, from the local Dungeness crab and hormone-free meats to organic vegetables and homemade sauces.
