This place was really crowded the day after Thanksgiving but we got an inside table right away. There's also outdoor seating but it was a little too cool outside. It took a while for me to get my starter salad, and even longer to get our food. I'm not sure if this is typical but the servers were working very... More
We were directed here by a local friend, and started with the lava prawns appetizer. Very much a sweet/sour dish. We saved the sauce for dressing on the ahi tuna salad. The burgers and fries were cooked more than expected, but the serving size was huge and we did not need more than a bowl of soup for dinner later... More
We live about ½-hour away, but we've avoided Capitola for years because of the traffic and parking. We decided to give it a try off-season, and stopped at Paradise Beach Grille for lunch. Wow... were we pleasantly surprised! We sat on the patio overlooking the ocean on a sunny and mild November day. I had a terrific BLTA (BLT with... More
My family and I stopped in for drinks and an appetizer and loved all three we ordered! We got the cheese board that my sister would not shut up about. We also got the clams that my brother in law was craving and the Hawaiian shrimp. All extremely delicious!
This fun little spot is known for their seafood sandwiches and nice views. I had the halibut sandwich with french fries and slaw. The baguette was fresh and the service was attentive.

We were seated outside near a small fire pit and were excited for a great dinner. However, after 25 minutes no one had acknowledged our presence!! They... More
The early Autumn weather here was perfect and I decided to treat myself to lunch down by the beach. I live locally and feel very fortunate to have nice beachside restaurants to choose from. Paradise Grill remains consistently good. I had the Ahi Tuna sandwich and French fries. The tuna was seared rare and was delicious. And a special treat... More
Wow- excellent all around: sunset views, food, and service. Margaritas and wine selection is best in show. Halibut, salmon, steaks, salads- your choice. Music is relaxing yet vibrant. We were very pleased!!
So when we booked a room at the monarch cove inn, and purchased a dinner package. Amazing food. I had the skirt steak and my girlfriend had the chicken. Now when you order chicken you expect it Juicy and moist. Well, it was. The veggies were perfect and the desert was perfect. The drinks were amazing. Usually I would take... More
