A friend gave us a gift card to her favorite Italian place in Carlsbad so we swung out to try something new. Other than pizza we don't usually go out for pasta, as it seems so "heavy". This place has change my mind! We sat on the covered patio, which was comfortable and has heaters, as needed. My husband had... More

We like thin crust pizza. Whole tomatoes slices on pizza. Big slices of sausage. This was the combination pizza.

Had a reservation but had to wait a while before being seated. Parking is hard to find but they do have valet which saved us time. Food portions are huge everything was really tasty. Very busy so service takes a long time and you usually have to wave them down for a refill. It was a Saturday so I guess... More

Met some friends here. Parking always problem in this area. Restaurant on second level. Very busy had short wait even with reservation. Took first available but outside looked like the better spot. Restaurant quickly slowed down and was able to have nice conversation. Food was really good had chicken parmigiana with ravioli. Did not like the ravioli but my wife... More

We went to have some Italian food. Boy did we. I had a three cheese lasagna with meat sauce. The portion was huge. I must say it was the best I ever had. I could not believe it. I could not eat all of it, so I had a to go package. No way I was leaving anything that good... More

Authentic Italian. This place is amazing. Huge portions. Lasagne with meat sauce was best I ever had. House salad was big with fresh cucumber, carrot, marinated mushrooms and homemade dressing. The shrimp with tomato cream and linguine was really good. Totally recommend this place!! It is upstairs so hard to find but worth the trip.

The vibe was very family-owned and friendly. We received a warm greeting as we entered and were quickly seated by an equally friendly server. My Cesar salad was generous and perfectly tossed. The lasagna with spicy sausage and tomato sauce was both spicy and flavorful. Each flavor was distinct and yet well married to the other flavors. The second floor... More

We keep coming back. Indoor or outdoor seating. It is upstairs but there are other ways to get there without the stairs going around the parking lot. And, an elevator somewhere. The bread is good. Husband likes the eggplant and pizza. I like the shrimp salad. The very large is $18.00 but enough to share. It is our understanding that... More

We just walked in around 7 pm and were greeted & seated promptly. The restaurant is located on the upper level of the Carlsbad Village Faire. We had a little problem finding it but boy...were we happy we did. The food was fantastic. It was busy with a lot of locals, so it was a tad noisy. They offer small... More

We dined here late afternoon after a long journey and neither of us was particularly hungry so we shared a Pizza marguerite. The food was made freshly, there was plenty for us both and the taste was delicious. Our waitress was especially nice and welcoming even though they had been very busy that lunchtime. The price was acceptable and we... More
