The Wild Goose Bakery offers delicious bakery items and homemade European style sandwiches and great lattes. This is definitely a locals spot where you might see cowboys, authors, musicians and resident celebrities meeting and discussing world politics, art, photography and how the local high school team did at their latest water polo or volley ball tournament. It is quirky, creative... More

This is a locals/mix-and-match-furniture/help-yourself kind of place. Fresh homemade breads, bagels (no, not a NY bagel, but so what), and pastries. Delicious egg combinations on a roll, avocado-tomato-and-cheese on a freshly made roll. Excellent coffee, selections of loose teas.

We decided to explore Carmel Valley Village since we had been staying at Carmel Valley Ranch. We loved the look of the village and stopped here for coffee. Very quirky place, very friendly staff and very good coffee.

The coffee here is probably the best in town. I visited this shop every day for the week that I was working there. Day 1 had an excellent kona, a Costa Rican & a French roast. By day 5 only the French roast was available. The atmosphere is very nice with delicious looking baked goods & art from local artists... More

Wild Goose has the best coffee in the Valley and the best freshly baked goods! They also have sandwiches and breakfast burritos, but their coffee and muffins are delicious!

Don't go there if you are in a hurry. But otherwise pastries are the best. Always fresh, from local organic produce. The best soups, sandwiches. Highly recommended.

Still quirky but that's what they do If you are in hurry go to Starbucks Go there for the coffee the baked goods and the humanity show Try talking to the rude dude! Deriding a local business when you live here isn't the best practice
