My favorite place for fried chicken. I have visited a number of fried chicken restaurants in my travels throughout central and eastern US and found this restaurant to be one of the best ever. Not to mention it is a lot closer since I am located in Thousand Oaks. Always perfectly cooked with a crispy skin. As to value, every... More

Our server, Gina, did a wonderful job. She was attentive and took care of our needs. The food was fresh and tasted great. Our orders included prime rib, a teriyaki and filet steak with baked potatoes (awesome!), clam chowder (nice!) and pie. Our party of three had the chocolate fudge pie (the best!), Blue berry (great!) and the chocolate cookie... More

I rode motorcycle up to Carpinteria today. At days end, rode from hotel, heading to brewpub and noticed Clementine's. I'm a guy, so "steak house" got my attention. Sandra was my server, very sweet, genuine and attentive. Dinner started with a mini loaf of great bread and a tray of celery, carrots, pepperucini, followed by a really tasty and rich... More

We have been frequently to this gem of a restaurant, which serves really tasty home cooking in this lovely spot, it's as if you are dining at someones house, and that is meant as a compliment. We were made to feel so special, and were treated like special guests. Our favorite dishes are the Halibut and the Chicken, followed by the... More

Absolutely perfect meal! Prime rib and Sea bass were excellent. My friend commented it was the best prime rib she had ever had! Great service and charming little place. Can't wait to go back.

We drive an hr plus, a couple of times a year to this gem of a place. Been coming here over 20 plus years, the ambiance, food and service, has not disappointed us so far. It's a steakhouse, so bring your appetite. Warm bread and butter, relish dish to start. Home made soup, salad to start. The fish is fresh,... More

Clementine steakhouse is a darling restaurant in Carpinteria. The food has a set price ranges anywhere from around $20-$34. However for that price you get bread, veggies, soup, salad, your entree, and pie. All the food is made by hand by the owner himself. The The mushroom and spinach casserole was to die for. And the halibut that we had... More

My first impression of Clementine's was that I had gone back in time to when restaurants were comfortable and they knew who you were. I had the soup and salad which came with a little loaf bread. The clam chowder was delicious. My husband had the liver and onions. He had been talking about wanting that meal for months because... More
