Authentic Cantonese cooking! They have a bilingual menu but the waiter is happy to help you order your food. Hot food and huge portions! Parking is tight so try to park across the street.

I really like this place. Many times I have gone to the eastern european store next door for various things I can't buy in the normal grocery store, then went to Hong Kong BBQ for dinner. It never disappoints. Food is in large proportions. Their vege dishes are especially ample in quantity.

We ordered several dishes to go on February 20, 2017 and we were impressed with the quality of the food, textures, flavors, and lack of oiliness! Everything we ordered denied the greasy Chinese food stereotype, and that really added to the delight. Due to the prices, we thought the portions would be on the small side, but they were quite... I have had many great lunch plate experiences. I did take out a couple weeks ago, that was an average experience. Our best experience has been dine in. Roasted meats are great. Noodle dishes are also outstanding. I like the Beef and bitter melon

I love to go here for lunch and sometimes take out for dinner. My favorite entree is the beef with asparagus but had had nothing bad there yet. Their soups are out of this world. My favorite is the hot and sour while my Daughter loves the won ton soup. Parking can sometimes be challenging at lunch but not too... More

I went in for some good Chinese food, but got a show instead. Food was passable, not great, but okay, but the highlight was when a customer came in and said a large group of 14 would be coming in very soon. The waitress had to ask some people to move to slide tables together, and she and another employee... More

Small restaurant, offers Chinese cuisine that is pretty good. Large menu, with many dishes to try and they allow substitutions or omitting items from a dish. Portions are plentiful.

The food here reminds of the old time Cantonese style restaurants that used to populate Chinatown in San Francisco before it became a tourist destination. The Yang Chow fried rice is cooked perfectly without being greasy or oily. The serving size of most dishes is surprisingly large especially when you consider the prices. Not all the dishes are great, but... More

We eat here regularly. In general, the food is pretty good - best Chinese food in Castro Valley in our opinion. The service is friendly and good as well.

This little hole in the wall has authentic Chinese barbecue pork, duck, chicken etc hanging a lots of great typical Hong Kong dishes including noodle dishes. I moved away five years ago but every time I'm back in town I go here. The prices are extremely reasonable and the portions generous The waitress still remembers me after all these years... More
