My companion ordered a beer and the opened bottle of a different beer was handed to her. She said she didn't order that and the employee said yes she did. My friend said well she'll take it since what can they do with an opened bottle of beer? We sat awaiting our order then the waiter brought the incorrect size... More

We stopped in at this restaurant while driving south on 101. It being a weekend, the place was packed. It took some time waiting in line to order and even longer to receive our fish tacos. We sat outside people watching and thought the tacos were about average.

Was great. Got it in the bread bowl. Which was also great. Will be back soon to try the fish and chips.

We have eaten here six times and it always delicious and afforable... from the onion rings, the clam chowder, the fish and chips and the fesh fish meals. I see a lot of the same people here so most likely there are a lot of locals, which is a good testimonial as well. I will be eating here a lot... More

This is not fine dinning but this chowder house has some of the best clam chowder in the area. We stopped at Duckie's Chowder House based on the reviews and that they have both red and white chowder. I am sure glad we tried them out as they have some of the best red chowder I have had in the... More

We discovered this place rather by accident when the weather "changed" the plans we had made for dinner elsewhere. We ended up enjoying some of the best NE clam chowder and fish & chips that we've ever had. It's a small local place - really casual - but the food was so good. We'll be back.

This is our go-to when it's just the two of us and we can't decide what to cook. I love the Combination Seafood and chips. Lightly battered and fried. My wife thinks this is the chowder is the best around. I also love the steamer clams. That broth with the bread is gar-licuous! Bring a breath mint if you need... More

Unbelievable white clam chowder across from the pier in Cayucos, CA. Sit inside or eat outside and enjoy the phenomenal view and ocean breeze.
