This restaurant has an outstanding barista-cum-waiter Pop, who performs each request perfectly, no matter how difficult they can be. Many times, he’d come to save F&B requests gone wrong (ristretto bianco which tastes completely milky, broths with wrong ingredients, etc).

The culinary team unfortunately, do...their best to meet dietary requirements, but do not always meet them 100%.More

The restaurant decor and vibe is positive. Nice place to sit with some nice views of the hotel grounds (hotel guests only allowed to wonder around grounds). Service was okay. Took time to receive the bill though. Food was good but a bit on the...pricey side for steaks, some seafood and steaks. Overall was a pleasant experience if not slightly costly for what one received.More

Terribly slow service. The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived and it took 20 minutes to deliver our drinks and then 45 minutes to deliver cold starters (not all at once). Avoid the prawn dishes - as they were not easy to eat at...all. My salmon was overcooked. The card machine didn’t work. It was the most expensive meal we’d had. And they also charged us automatically 10% service charge.More

Transported to England right in Khaoyai at Thames Valley Resort Hotel, where we enjoyed a festive afternoon tea at The Castle Restaurant and Tea Room. Scones, finger sandwiches, desserts and a pot of Thames Garden Tea (their exclusive special blend of white tea) for 2...at THB1290++. Probably the cheapest high-tea I've had and of decent quality. Love the apple bits in the jam that came with the scones. The desserts were Christmas themed and looked too cute to eat. Ambience was perfect, with a view like this, and evergreen oldies in the background, even the toilet was in English vibes. Service was warm and friendly, nothing to complain about.More

We staryed at Thames Valley for the weekend and ate all our meals here. All food dishes we ordered were made with fresh ingredients. We actually tried the chocolate factory which turned out to be a complete disaster and quickly came back to the Castle....The non alcoholic drinks were very well made. The chef took personal interest, the staff always wanting to please, good live music and the restaurant was always quite busy indicating their popularity. But the best are their desserts - out of this world quality. You will not be disappointed. Don't even think of going anywhere else in Khao Yai!More

My wife and I like to try top-rated places in Khao Yai while visiting, so decided to have lunch at the Castle Restaurant and Tea Room. The service was friendly, but tentative and hardly impressive (they were unable to accommodate a minor substitution requested by...my wife. I very much enjoyed their fish and chips, but my wife's pasta and prawns were unimpressive and the pork neck we shared was sub-par. Prices are way high for the quality.More

We had the Afternoon Tea set at 1pm when that service opened! It was lovely. Wide choice of teas. The tiered plate of sandwiches, scones and cakes were good. I may have preferred more sandwiches and fewer cakes, but guess that is not what afternoon...tea is about! Not cheap - about 800 for two - but lovely. The setting is gorgeous. Worth a little wander onto the verandah to take photos of the Castle grounds. A fun treat if you are in the area.More

A piece of English Countryside in Thailand. Very nice surroundings and excellent Thaifood. Our advice is to stay with the local food though (We didn’t like the Shepherds pie and returned it - and it was removed from our bill straight away). Service couldn’t be...better and there is parking right in front of the restaurant.More
