The miners Grill was the third choice but it wound up being just fine for an easy dinner. My salmon turned out fine and the broccoli was done correctly. My friends fish and chips were a little greasy but he said the french fries were good. Fresh iced tea is always Pleasant to have. Lance the waiter did a great... More

Wonderful setting, kind people working and the best darn breakfast in the area. We had the omelette served with beans, home made potatoes and cowboy coffee. YUM.

We were on the way to Fish Camp/Yosemite, and needed lunch. We were leery of this place because it looks like a tourist trap with all its funky buildings and signs. We decided to give it a try and were glad we did. It was a warm day so we sat outside on the deck. No bugs/bees to bother us;... More

There were 4 of us in our group and we all ordered from the breakfast menu. We had mixed results. Those that had bacon, the bacon was salty and overcooked. I had sausage pattu which was ok. Several of us had eggs over easy and they were all cooked properly. The hashbrowns were a little soft. We all like ours... More

Had a fun time with the staff and great breakfast two mornings. Love the Tarantula Crossing sign! Met Tim who frequents and got pointers on touring the area! VERY friendly place to stop.

Your typical family diner, where the locals receive great food at a great price from a friendly service staff. Portions are huge and it's worth the drive if you're staying at the casino up the street or on your way to Yosemite. While waiting for your food, enjoy the military themed walls surrounding the diner. I only wish I had... More

Great character, excellent country cooking/mountaineer cooking. Lots of food served on tin plates! Like the miners used. The one drawback for us were the walls filled with war memorabilia and photos and awards and mean sayings. Enough. Eat in peace but to have all that in one's face is a bit much. Evidently these men and a few women live... More

We visited this restaurant/grill after a day out in Yosemite and we were not disappointed. They do great food, huge servings, the ladies working there went above and beyond, my waitress, she kept the coffee flowing (great coffee too btw) and even managed to steal me a large serving of Pecan pie (pretty sure she gave me two) even though...
