My husband and I eat here several times a month, typically breakfast or dinner. They have a good selection and the food is always good.

After eating out for a week and a half in the Corning area, a friend and I were looking for a "new place" to try. We were surprised in good. The buffet is extensive and the food is good. The service was friendly and attentive (especially for a buffet). Had we staid longer in the area, we would have cycled... More

When I stop somewhere for something to eat, I expect the place to be neat, tidy and relatively quiet. I want to eat in peace and I want to be relatively sure that even if it's not 5 star quality what I eat won't make me ill. Places that encourage vagrants don't go very far toward meeting these wants. This... More

I love going to the Iron Skillet! I love their Buffet and the fact that, when I'm tired or in pain, I can sit down to a wonderful menu and be served. They are friendly, courteous and best of all I can afford to eat there. It is a wonderful place to go no matter what the occasion. And it... More

Called in an order for my family: French toast, eggs over easy, bacon, ham, hash browns. It was ready in under 10 min! All tasted great without skimping on serving size.

Not all that great. Grits was like water, food tasted not all that great. Service was ok, but wanted us to sit where they wanted us to. Didn't even have plain pancakes. Won't go back.

I read some of the mixed reviews but we were ready for a stop so we gave it a try. There was not a big selection of hot dishes but there was a sort of pulled pork dish with green sauce that was very good. The salad bar was better than I expected. All of the veggies were fresh and... More

We have eaten here before on our travels and know they always have a great variety of food and a lot of it. The Truckers always have ample parking on the side and stop for their food. The huge soup and salad bar and buffet is an option or you can order ala carte. We had dinner coming in one... More

if you can find a better restaurant .. do it .. it is a truck stop and I feel for the truckers... it wasn't all that cheap and the food was less than desirable .. even for a buffet style meal ..the wait staff however were very friendly and helpful.. fast and efficient if only they had good food to...
