We were here with friends who knew Chef. We were treated like family. Tasty rolls and sashimi, good beers and excellent wines. Staff are friendly and helpful. One of the best Japanese meals in a mall we've ever had. Must try the Sashimi and Sushi as well as the Rolls. Prices are on the Moderate-expensive side. Good luck and enjoy!

Thank you Shinpei who accommodated and recommended everything that I should try. Please ask the chef at the sushi bar for special items not on the menu. All that I ate that evening was like fresh from the market. James Hamamori was there... funny guy! Domo Chef! My bill ran to about $160 because it was a restaurant that I... More

Happy hour is great here! Come before 6:30! Gave us slice of cheesecake for friend's bday! Check was $130 for 5 people - all food from happy hour plus sake. Will return for sure

Went expecting run of the mill sushi given it was lunchtime and at South Coast plaza, but, loved it. Got the older chef, Yoshe, and he was awesome with high grade very creative options. See pictures, but some highlights were Salmon with yuzu, kobe beef with fois gras, great uni etc. Highly recommend Yoshe San !

Funky eclectic vibe and interior, but a good choice. Sushi chefs attentive and skilled. Happy hour sushi offerings are good size portion, everything fresh and true to form. Disregard that the locale is in the mall, this is top notch.

So, the title of my review may confuse some, so before I write this review I will elaborate. This lovely gem of a restaurant is in South Coast Plaza, however for some it may be hard to find as it is neatly tucked away in Section A on Level 3 after crossing the Bridge of Gardens (depending on where you...
