The steak salad is very good! The cauliflower was surprising as well. But I order a cosmopolitan that was very bad. Not even the glass was right. The group had a great time.

We were greeted by chatting hostesses who seemed upset we disturbed the conversation. They announced there is a table available in a way that suggested it's our luckiest day ever. We received the menus and for 15 minutes nothing happened. As we were just about to leave and change venues, a waitress came to check on the table next to... More

Lots of energy here. College age crowd. Good good. Good beer. Pub atmosphere. Would recommend -- to my son.

Good martini (dirty), food was ok but over-priced for what you receive. Layout of the outside could be revamped, hard to have a conversation without hearing the table next to you and seemed there was not enough room for staff to maneuver about comfortably.

Went out early on a Friday evening for food and drinks, came across this place and never left! Girls had the chicken and waffles dish which was gorgous and the boys had the bison burgers which they said was fab. Great beers - a bit pricey by British standards but reasonable for LA. Friendly staff and good ambiance - will... More

Had brunch here. Ordered the chicken and waffles. My daughter attends school in the south so I've tasted some good chicken and waffles. This was not one of them. I like hot (spicy) chicken, and this was not. They made the waffle with cornmeal, which was cold and soggy. I ordered a bottomless Bloody Mary which they added a fried... More

As part of the group that owns "The Grill on the Alley" steak restaurants, Public School is an above average restaurant for casual pub food with a modern twist. It's loud and boisterous and even on a cool LA night - the outdoor area was fun and comfortable. The bartenders are just great - they mix interesting things and KNOW... More

I was in for business and this place was recommended...and it was not a disappointment! We ordered food off the happy menu and it was great. The pb&j burger with bacon was for real!!!

The menu is simple yet delicious. Our tables ordered about five different items and shared them and everyone was delicious. My favorite was the Watermelon Stack Salad. I could eat here every day. The atmosphere is very comfortable. You can go here on a date or for a good lunch.

Really great dinner. Main courses were decent, but the sides were SPECTACULAR. The cookie for desert is a must!
