I picked this place because of the good reviews and proximity to Douglas theatre. It is in a very strange location and it is impossible to find parking. It is a couple blocks from the main restaurant area on a long dark street with limited parking. It is a nice informal Italian that looks like a neighborhood place. The food... More

I went for lunch with my family. The menu was a bit limited. Not to many appetizers and mostly red sauce dishes. The food was excellent though. The pasta was cooked just right. Food was served hot. Service was excellent. Pricing was fair and reasonable Would definitely recommend going

Finding Novecento was a happy accident. The four of us looked at another restaurant in downtown Culver City and were not excited by the menu. We went around the corner and there was Novecento. Great Italian food in a small setting, with a nice italian restaurant vibe. Pasta was very good and tasted freshly made. The menu is not large,... More

I've been here for both lunch and dinner. It's got a bit of an NYC Italian vibe but with more elbow room. The food is solid, and feels like a good value for what you get. It's not my first pick in the neighborhood, but it's probably my second.

The homemade spinach ravioli is one of the best I've ever eaten. Prices very reasonable. Wine was great too and many offered by the glass as well as by the bottle--glass was a generous measure. Salads are a la carte but also very good. There are a couple of shellfish dishes but no entries that are just fish. Only a... More

I opted for a lighter dish, the Pollo Arrabbiata, chicken breasts with a spicy tomato sauce and a side of vegetables. The chicken breasts were cooked properly, and the vegetables were decent, but the arrabiata (literally "angry sauce") was completely bland and the tomatoes tasted canned. It was a disappointing plate when so many places do excellent renditions of this... More

This is a narrow restaurant tucked long restaurant row on Main Street in Culver City. They were very accommodating about moving back our reservation three times due to very heavy traffic and leaving a sports event late. The menu features Italian appetizers, Souds, salads, and pastas. The grilled meats are incorporated into the pastas. The main flavoring is pepper.which was... More

this restaurant is very cute with good food. it's not outstanding or incredible, but very tasty and, in my opinion, slightly better than UGO which is it's main Culver City competition for Italian cuisine.
