Great place for fresh sushi. The crunchy roll is delicious and a favorite amongst my kids. Closed on sundays.

One of the very best sushi places ever. Variety, well prepared, good atmosphere, nice cold beer! And reasonable prices

I went here for my first visit at lunchtime. The lunch is a good value for high quality fish and excellent service. I will definitely be a repeat customer!
We placed 2 orders last night around 5:30 pm and waited for over 25 minutes while there was not many customers and no sign of been busy in the kitchen. Food was average...so we won't go again.

Even though it's in a tiny strip mall here in Dana Point, Dana Kai has some of the areas best sushi. Sam is our favorite chef and it's always worth buying him a beer to get some of his favorite sushi.
