During our stay at the Aqua Soleil Hotel we have eaten here three times. The service is good, the food is delicious (homemade tortillas) and eating here is not pricy at all. We definitely recommend this place! PS. Try the bread pudding (probably only during lent) and the horchata (Mexican rice drink)

Felt like we were back in Mexico the second we walked in the door, although the fact that we were the only gringos in the place may have had something to do with it :) Food was great and cheap and waaaaay better than anything we could have gotten at the fancy resort down the road we were staying at...... I am such a gringa. Or so said my Mexican ex-fiancee. I was younger then and so clueless I really didn't know I was engaged, because in Mexico they have way-different rules of engagement, apparently. But anyway, here I am in Desert Hot Springs escaping from the crummy restaurant at the swank spa down the street, and I'm kinda half-vegetarian... More

Love the family- LOVE the Chili Verde! Amazing- clean- delicious- satisfying food. The homemade tortilla chicken enchilada's in the green sauce will blow your mind and taste buds. Not spicy just flavorful. The soups are fresh and better than your Mon's!

Check this place out for your local favorite Mexican plates. Great menudo on weekends. Handmade tortillas. They are clean and consistent with their flavor. Good breakfast for your busy mornings when you don't feel like cooking.

It's very casual, a "hole in the wall" - but the food at this place is legit. We've visited several times and everything we had was delicious. I especially recommend the chile relleno and their Micheladas.

Just a small place family owned and operated- the hard shell chicken taco is so good you won't believe it! They make their own shells and a special broth that goes with it. All their selections are excellent but tacos dorado outstanding.

I'm not really a great fan of Mexican food so I wasn't overly excited when serious foodie friends insisted on taking us here for brunch but this place is the real deal. I have no idea what they ordered but everything was delicious and the woman (one of the owners I believe) who served us was charming. It was a... More

Small place in a strip mall which we liked so much we went back three times. Good for breakfast lunch or dinner. The owner and family make you feel at home!
